Adelaide’s Kurt Tippett has signed a new deal with the Crows, committing until the end of 2012.
The powerful 22-year-old forward agreed to terms this week, choosing to stay in Adelaide rather than return home to Queensland at the end of next year to join the AFL’s new Gold Coast franchise for 2011.
And the Crows also have confirmed the re-signings of captain Simon Goodwin, 300-gamers Tyson Edwards and Andrew McLeod, Brett Burton, Trent Hentschel and Brent Reilly.
Adelaide chairman Rob Chapman announced the contracts tonight at the Crows’ Club Champion presentation at the Adelaide Convention Centre.
Tippett kicked 55 goals this year – including four in both finals – and has played 43 AFL games for the club. He was selected at pick 32 in the 2006 national draft from Gold Coast club Southport
